I'm Matt Kane — an entrepreneur based in Byron Bay who's spent the last fifteen years building businesses I care about, alongside people I'd back in a heartbeat.
Most of that time was in wellness. I'm co-owner of Barre Body and Bende, home to the barre and Pilates brands Barre Body and Bende, which grew into studios across Australia, an online platform, and a teacher-training program that's trained thousands of instructors. It taught me that the best businesses are built on strong systems and stronger people.
These days I lead the Orange Gorilla Group, the intelligence and innovation company behind OG01 — a business intelligence platform that helps businesses measure and improve how they're found, read and trusted across AI-driven search — along with ventures spanning security, art and media. Going from a movement-based business to building technology sounds like a leap, but it's the same work underneath: clear systems, good people, and brands built with integrity.
